Summary: Annie is a pretty, petite brown tabby. She was found outside cold and hungry as her owners had moved and left her to fend for herself. Annie went into a foster home for a while until she regained her confidence and trust of people once again and then resided at our adoption center at the Mt. Olive PetSmart for a little while, but it proved to be a little too stressful for her, so she returned to her foster home with a PAL volunteer, where she is receiving lots of TLC. Annie loves to be held, especially cuddling under your chin. She enjoys being brushed and rolling in her catnip and can be quite the talker. We cannot understand why someone would abandon this sweet cat. Annie is spayed and up to date on all of her shots. Summary:Bill is a completely adorable black & white male. He rolls over for belly rubs every chance he gets and he loves to be combed. Bill grew up with other cats and loves their company, and he loves people too. Summary:Bunny is a beautiful little Tuxedo cat. She eats very little and has a beautiful figure to show for it. She does like Swiss cheese in tiny portions and is very fond of mayonnaise. Bunny will roll over to get belly rubs and loves to be rubbed under her chin and ears. She doesn’t just purr at the drop of a hat, so when she does you know you’ve made her really happy. She also doles out kisses occasionally to people she especially likes. Bunny is very playful and loves her little mouse, catnip and any hanging toys. Summary:Hello, my name is Crosby and I'm approximately 2 years old. My prior owners left me out in the cold, cold snow to starve, but a very nice lady helped catch me and brought me into a nice warm house. Sometime in my past I had very serious infection that affected my eyes. The infection is gone, but now I do have very limited vision in both eyes. Summary:Hi, my name is Hadley. I used to have to be very tough after I was abandoned outside by my first family. There were other cats who were really mean, and I had to convince them that they shouldn't mess with me or my friend Ned. But, I never liked being like that. I'm a very sweet guy, really. I like to take it easy. I love to lie on the windowsill and watch the birds outside or take naps or play. Boy, do I love dinner too. It's so wonderful to have regular meals - I just can't get over it. I was always hungry for such a long time before I was rescued, and I just can't believe how nice it is to have nice food. I also just found out about something people call toys here. They give them to us, and we can play with them. It's really fun! I also found out that is feels really good to be combed! What a nice feeling that is - I really like it. The first time was kind of scary, but I looked so handsome after and felt so good that I wish someone would comb me every day. You should really try it - it's nice! I'm waiting for my person to arrive, and it’s pretty lonely here because my foster mom is VERY busy and doesn’t really have time for me. She says that I'm going to make someone very happy because I'm so sweet. I'm not sure who that someone is, but I'm waiting for them. Thanks for reading my story. Summary:Hamish is a sweetheart. He is very affectionate and also loves to play, and he really enjoys the company of other cats. Regarding toys, his favorites are little mice, which he carries in his mouth, throws in the air and generally chases around like a madman. Summary:Isaac is a gorgeous, big brown tabby. He adores other cats and is very sweet and polite to all of them. Isaac also loves to have his head rubbed and will request this. He is a big boy and fills up the windowsill when he is watching the birds. Isaac is still frightened of loud unfamiliar noises or fast movements because he came from a very bad situation where he was tormented by children. But he has come to trust people again as long as they are calm adults. He is exceptionally handsome and it is so thrilling when he pushes his head into your hand for a rub. Kiwi can't get enough love and is quite cuddly. she has all her shots up to date, she is spayed and has tested negative for feline leukemia. She never stops purring and loves to be pet all over. She absolutely loves company and lots of affection. Although she can be a bit of a scaredy cat at times she is extremely silly and playful and she loves small toys that jingle or rattle, and her favorite toy is a laser pointer. Summary:Little is a gorgeous black tabby who lost her home when her owner met a man who was allergic to her. Little was left at the pound with a horrific ear infection. She's all fixed up now and feeling very well, and she is one of the sweetest and funniest cats we've ever met. She squeaks rather than meows, and she can be extremely talkative, so her little voice makes everyone smile. Little is also very affectionate and wants to be in the center of things. She loves people and will rub against your ankles and roll over on her back the first time she meets you. Little is a wonderful companion because she likes to be where you are and will carry on a great conversation. She also has a very beautiful round face with big round eyes. Little needs a quiet home where she will be very loved and get the attention she needs. Little requires a special diet and may need it for the rest of her life. Summary:FOR MORE INFORMATION, PLEAS CALL PENNY AT973-882-6282. I found her at one of my son's soccer games in PA. She was eating from a hot dog wrapper. She was a little afraid to come to me but was very curious. I sat patiently and eventually she climbed right one me and up to my shoulder and just sat and purred. There were no houses around and we were right next to a highway. I couldn't leave her. I brought her home. She was very good in the car and once again just sat on me and looked out the window. She was a little nervous in the house and it took 2 days to get her to use the litter box. I took her to Hodes Veterinary Group and she was estimated to be about 10-12 weeks old. She received a shot and needs a booster in 4 weeks. They did a feline leukemia/aids test that came back negative as well as a giardia and fecal examination. She has no fleas or ticks and a strong heart beat. She is a healthy good kitten. She loves being around people and will sit on your lap/shoulder while you watch tv or read a book. She follows my 5 year old daughter around the house. She's playful and beautiful. Unfortunately we can not keep her, as both my son and I are allergic to her and it's beginning to affect my asthma. Also, she loves company so much and we just aren't home enough. She deserves a better environment where she can bring joy to people who can appreciate her and give her attention. Summary:Hi, my name is Ned. The people here are always telling me how handsome I am - I guess because I'm a pretty big guy, and I smile a lot. I love to have my belly rubbed and get kisses. When people come to visit me, I rub all over their legs and then when I have their attention I tend to fall over on my side so they'll smile and rub my belly. I'm learning that people like to pick me up and kiss me, which makes me nervous still since I'm not used to it. But I'm kind of getting used to it because people can't seem to resist doing that! I'm not sure what it is about me that makes people want to kiss me, but boy they sure do want to! After getting my belly and head rubbed, my second favorite thing is other cats. I really like them. Then I guess food would be my third favorite, and then laying by the window in the sun with my friend Hadley. He took care of me after my first person put me outside and then drove away when I was little. Anyway, I would like to meet you because I like to meet everyone. My foster mom keeps telling me I'm going to find a really wonderful home because I'm special, so I believe her, and I'm just waiting patiently for you to find me. Summary:FOR MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE CALL JULIE AT 201-602-0692. Pollyanna just turned a year old in June. She's an awesome Tabby cat, with some stripes that turn into spots on her belly. She's a polydactyl cat- which means that she's got extra toes on each paw! (Most polydactyl cats only have extra toes on 2 paws, but she's special, she's got extras on all 4!) She's extremely friendly and loves everyone, adults and children alike! She's been an only pet for the past year that I've had her, so I don't know how she would be around other animals. Summary:Popcorn is sweet beyond belief. If you are sitting on the couch reading or watching TV he will be on your lap purring away. If he is looking for you he'll call out in his distinctive Siamese type voice and come running when he finds you. Popcorn is very social, loves other cats & dogs as well. He was brought up with children in his foster home so is great with them too. He is very playful and loves having lots of toys. He likes coming into the bathroom if you're taking a shower and taking a peek around the shower curtain to see what you're doing. : ) Popcorn also really loves watching the birds, chipmunks and deer outside the window. And if you're familiar with the cat sitter DVD’s, it amazes him to watch them...he'll stare at the TV for an hour. The only thing special about Popcorn is that he requires some extra grooming than usual for cats. He just needs to be brushed more often...which he loves. Summary: Puck is a gorgeous short hair black kitty with orange eyes who was rescued from the pound at about 6 months old. Prior to the pound he had lived outside so he has been in a foster home for a while adjusting to home life and people. He has done wonderfully and has become an affectionate boy who likes to be pet all over and loves to play. He would do best in a quieter home without small children...and he would love the company of other cats as he resides with 3 other fosters right now and gets along great with them all. Summary:Sheba is a beautiful black cat, who was thought to be a girl at first but is a boy.He is very shy, loves to play and be around with the other cats but he does not like to be petted. He sleeps with me also on the bed but runs when you try to pet him. I do corner him everyday in the bathroom with the door closed so I can pet him and I do this everyday but he just seems to be very afraid, not sure why. Summary:Sherbet is an extremely adorable boy who will allow you to carry him anywhere. He loves being near you at all times so if you are on the computer he will curl up behind you on the back of your chair and sleep.
