DONATE YOUR CAR TO THE PET ADOPTION LEAGUE
Are you thinking of selling or trading in your car? Please consider donating it to the Pet Adoption League. You will avoid all the hassle of finding a buyer and get a tax deduction, and greatly help our homeless animals find their forever home!
It’s quick and easy, just fill out the donation form and you will be contacted within 3-4 days to make arrangements to have your car towed at your convenience. You can donate any car, in running condition or not, as long as it has all major parts (tires, engine, etc…) and you must produce legal title to the car.
After the car is sold you will receive a receipt or IRS form to use when you do
your taxes. If your car sells for more than $500 the Car Program will contact
you via mail to have you complete a tax form so that they can file it with the
IRS*. ALL INFORMATION ON THIS FORM WILL BE STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL, but it
must be filled out and returned to them or we will not be able to forward on a
record of your deduction to the IRS.
