Willow's Story

Willow is recovering wonderfully from the surgery to fix her hip dysplasia! She had the surgery a few weeks ago. She was a little wobbly but walked right out of the carrier when I brought her home to foster! She is still on pain medicine while recovering but shouldn't need it much longer. She just got her stitches taken out and is healing great. Although she is not running around or jumping yet, she is walking well and she can go up and down stairs. I made a little staircase so she can get on to my bed where she loves to sleep. Prior to her surgery, she rarely moved, but now she is walking whenever the mood strikes her.

If Willow could talk she would thank all of the amazing people who contributed for thinking of her and providing her with a happy and pain free future!!!

Willow suffered the anxiety and depression that almost all animals feel when they are abandoned. But the outpouring of generosity and caring that you showed made all the difference for her.

We can't put into words how grateful we are to the people whose hearts were touched by her story. It is because of wonderful people like you that she has regained her confidence and happiness and has a new lease on life!

If you are interested in adopting Willow you can fill out a pre-adoption application for her on our website.  Willow is a front-declawed Persian female...about 8 years old. She is very sweet and loves to talk to you. She would do best in a quiet home and would prefer to be an only cat.
